Refer a Patient

Most of our outpatient clinics usually operate through an appointment system; however some services have walk-in-clinics as well. If you wish to refer a patient to a consultant for an outpatient consultation, please call the unit receptionist at the clinic. Clinic timings and telephone numbers can be found in the Clinical Schedule.
While referring a patient, you are kindly requested to send a concise 'referral note' with the name of the physician or service to be referred as well as your name, address and contact number. Kindly instruct your patients to present this note to the concerned unit receptionist.
If you wish to refer your patients to a particular diagnostic service, please see the information on the diagnostic services. For routine tests and procedures, you may refer your patients directly with a request on your letterhead. For specialised tests and procedures, you or your patients may call the service for appointments.
For admission of stable patients, you may refer to our outpatient Consulting Clinics (CC) and Community Health Centre (CHC). For admission of critically ill patients, you may refer directly to the Emergency Medicine Section. All admissions are subject to availability of beds.
