Cancer and vasculair diseases are the cause of many early deaths, handicaps and disabilities. Today, with many non-invasive medical imaging methods (ultrasonography, MRI, CT, PET/CT) early diagnosis of vascular deceases and cancer is very much possible. Half the battle is "catching" the disease before any signs or symptoms. As the saying goes - prevention is better than cure.

Annual health checkups are conducted at the executive clinics, which help in timely diagnosis of disease. A routine physical examination provides an opportunity to discuss ways to remain healthy. Potential problems are detected during the examination, which can be treated at an early stage. Executive clinics are located at the Nizarali Walji building at AKUH, K and at Clifton Medical Services.
All AKUH, K employees and their families can avail quality diagnostic services and physical examination by experienced physicians as part of the employee health screening proramme at the executive clinic.
Pre-employment checkups of all AKUH, K employees are conducted at the Community Health Clinic (CHC) by family physicians.
Emigration checkup services are provided by family physicians for those individuals who need to undergo physical examination before their visa interview. Currently, these checkup services are provided for USA and New Zealand immigration visas.
