Hepatitis C Medical Camp at Malir Medical Centre

 
<p><span style="font-family: helvetica;">On Sunday 27 November 2016, The Aga Khan University Hospital conducted a Medical Camp at its Malir Medical Centre. The camp sought to increase awareness about managing Hepatitis C through an awareness session, which was open to the public. In addition, on-spot discounted clinics were held at the venue in which visitors received expert consultation on Hepatitis C.  </span></p><div><span style="font-family: helvetica;">Dr. Saeed Hamid, Professor and Chair of Medicine at The Aga Khan University Hospital discussed the prevalence, diagnosis and available treatments of Hepatitis C as well as post-infection care. The informative session was followed by an extensive Q&amp;A session to address the various concerns of the audience and was conducted by a panel including Dr. Saeed Hameed, Dr. Tabinda Ashfaq, Dr. Raeefuddin Ahmed, Dr. Sofia Syed, Dr. Abdul Basit Rao, Dr. Ahsan Khursheed and Dr. Mansoora Jabeen. Attended by around 200 people, the awareness session was very well received by the audience who had a chance to share their experiences and concerns about Hepatitis C.</span></div><div><br style="font-family: helvetica;"/></div><div><span style="font-family: helvetica;">The medical camp also hosted discounted consultation clinics for Hepatitis C. A number of visitors registered themselves for the consultations being provided by the Hospital’s finest doctors.   </span></div><div><span style="font-family: helvetics;">
