The Section of Palliative Care under the Department of Oncology offers trusted quality care, that focuses on providing our patients with relief from pain and other symptoms of serious illnesses they are recovering from.
Our palliative care teams aim to improve the quality of life for both patients and their families by offering curative treatments carefully tailored to patients' and their families' needs.
AKUH's Section of Palliative Care is made up of an interdisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and other specially trained teams to help our patients' health physically and psychologically.
