The Section of Paediatric Surgery under the Department of Surgery at the Aga Khan University Hospital has doctors who are specialised in the diagnosis, treatment and surgeries of babies, children and young adults.

Our paediatric surgeons offer care for all forms of surgeries in children, ranging from congenital problems (such as heart defects by birth), tumour and cancer removals, trauma surgeries, orthopaedic, urological, general and other forms of surgery.​

Children are not just tinier adults; their organs and other systems work differently in the growth stage. Operating on children is therefore one of the most complex surgical specialties. Our paediatric surgeons work closely with our paediatricians and other specialists across our University Hospital, to give holistic, multidisciplinary care to our young patients.​
