Cardiac (Heart) rehabilitation programme
This programme is designed for the rehabilitation of people with the following heart related problems:
- Myocardial infarction (heart attack)
- Angina pectoris (chest pain)
- Coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG)
- Valve replacement
- Coronary angioplasty or coronary artery disease
Child (Paediatric) rehabilitation programme
This
programme is specially designed for children with physical or mental
disabilities and or learning disorders. It is an individual based
programme that helps maximize a child’s mobility, self-care and
communication.
Sports injury programme
This service provides comprehensive treatment to athletes for:
- Consultation and injury diagnosis
- Non-surgical treatments and rehabilitation
Neurological rehabilitation programme
This
service is designed for patients with diseases, trauma, or disorders of
the nervous system. It can often improve function, reduce symptoms, and
improve the overall well being of the patient.
Orthopaedic rehabilitation programme
This
service involves the care of patients who have complex musculoskeletal
problems that are may not be limited to one or two anatomic locations.
Pulmonary rehabilitation programme
This
service involves the care of patients who have long-term (chronic)
respiratory diseases (illness related to the lungs) who have symptoms or
continue to have decreased function despite standard medical
treatment.
Hydrotherapy rehabilitation programme
This service involves the care and treatment of patients in a swimming pool or using water.
Orthotics and prosthetic programme
This service evaluates, measures, fabricates and fits patients with artificial limbs and braces.
Geriatric rehabilitation programme
This service is designed for the care and treatment of elderly patients.
