​Import​ant Guidelines

  • Eligibility for the delivery package is determined by your doctor’s decision after a thorough examination.​
  • These packages are applicable for full-term pregnancies (36 weeks and over) with no other complications. 
  • Mothers wishing to deliver at AKUH must register by the 16th week at the OBGYN Clinic Counter. 
  • The above charges are for the mother; the baby’s bill is charged separately. 
  • In case of early discharge, the package remains unchanged and non-refundable.
  • Itemised billing details are not available with packages. 
  • In case of a change of accommodation request, the relevant package charges will be applicable 
  • In case of any additional surgical procedure(s), the package will not be applicable and the actual cost of treatment will be charged. 
  • The bed category for the newborn is the same as the mother’s. For changes, contact the Patient Admission Office. 
  • Blood will be provided from the AKUH Blood Bank on an exchange basis.​
