Overview

Working in tandem with the department of pathology, the team of highly skilled consultants provides a vast array of services related to blood disorders and blood cancers, including the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of conditions such as; multiple myeloma, acute myeloid leukaemia and myelodysplastic syndrome, acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, chronic myeloid leukaemia and related disorders, chronic lymphocytic leukaemia and related disorders and lymphoma (Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin).

Haemostasis and coagulation clinic

This is a comprehensive service for all patients with coagulation and platelet disorders. The services for this clinic include the following:

• Management of platelets disorders and Inherited coagulation defects

• Management of venous thromboembolism
