<div><span style="font-family: helvetica;">In keeping with the awareness campaign on Hepatitis C, The Aga Khan University Hospital conducted another Medical Camp at its Rashid Minhas Medical Centre on Sunday 4 December 2016. Like the previous Camp, the awareness session was open to the public and included discounted clinics in which experts of the Hospital conducted on-spot consultations. A vast majority of the attendees registered themselves for clinical consultations with the doctors at the Medical Centre.</span></div><div><br style="font-family: helvetica;"/></div><div><span style="font-family: helvetica;">Dr. Saeed Hamid, Professor and Chair of Medicine at The Aga Khan University Hospital presided over the awareness session, which covered various aspects of the disease, ranging from its nature to its treatment and care and post-infection precautions. The Q&A session was conducted by a panel including Dr. Saeed Hameed, Dr. Riaz Qureshi, Dr. Waqar Hussain, Dr. Asma Usman, Dr. Waqar Sagheer, Dr. Darakhshan Shams, Dr. Sadia Niaz, Dr. Ahsan Khursheed & Dr. Shaista Moin. </span></div><div><br style="font-family: helvetica;"/></div><div><span style="font-family: helvetica;">The session was attended by over a 100 people. Eliminate Hepatitis C program information and its packages were also distributed to all the attendees to further bring home the message of making an effort to reduce the number of people with this disease in Pakistan. </span></div><div><span style="font-family: helvetica;">
