Huntington’s Disease
Book AppointmentHuntington’s disease is an inherited neurological disorder (that is, a disorder relating to the brain) that affects the cells in the brain, known as neurons. The disease is neurodegenerative, meaning that the cells in the brain progressively break down leading to their death. Huntington’s disease can have a wide impact on all of your functional abilities such as movement, muscle control, thinking, perception, behaviour, and personality.
