Ibrahim Mustafa is the Director of the Princess Zahra Pavilion (PZP) and Concierge Services at the Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH), bringing decades of dedicated administrative and leadership experience to the institution. His expansive career, spanning over 30 years in AKUH, has been defined by a commitment to operational excellence and patient satisfaction.

In his current capacity, Mr Mustafa oversees several critical functions, including PZP (Private Wing), Concierge Services, Medical Tourism, and the Second Opinion programme, ensuring the delivery of advanced healthcare within a compassionate, high-end environment.

Under his leadership, the Princess Zahra Pavilion private wing facility provides an elevated healthcare experience. He directs a comprehensive service model that integrates advanced medical treatment with the serenity of modern amenities, single-occupancy rooms, and family suites. His mission is to make the hospital the foremost destination for private, high-quality quaternary care in the region.

Mr Mustafa oversees a dedicated concierge operation that serves as a personal liaison for patients. This dedicated team manages complex logistics, including clinical appointments, hospital admissions, travel and accommodation arrangements, translation services, and insurance coordination. Through his strategic direction, the Concierge Services department ensures that both local and international patients can focus entirely on their recovery while administrative formalities are expertly handled.

Over his extensive tenure, Mr. Mustafa has held various administrative roles across multiple hospital functions, including Psychiatry, Radiology, and as the Manager of Consulting Clinics. This comprehensive background was instrumental when he conceptualised and established Concierge Services, realising how deeply it must interact with all hospital departments to fully benefit the institution and facilitate patient care. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA).
