Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)

Book Appointment

Hypertension, also known as high blood pressure, occurs when the force of blood pushing against the walls of your arteries remains consistently too high.

Over time, uncontrolled high blood pressure can damage important organs, including the heart, brain, kidneys, and eyes, increasing the risk of heart attack, stroke, kidney disease, and vision problems.

Hypertension often has no symptoms, which is why it is commonly called the 'silent killer'. Regular blood pressure checks are the best way to detect it early.
