Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Book Appointment

Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a mental health condition characterised by obsessions, which are unwanted, recurring thoughts, urges or images, and compulsions, which are repetitive behaviours or mental rituals a person feels driven to perform.

These thoughts and behaviours can cause significant distress, take up considerable time, and interfere with everyday activities.

OCD is not simply being very organised, neat, or occasionally worried. It is a serious mental health condition, and with appropriate care and support, symptoms can be managed.
