Subfertility
Book AppointmentSubfertility, also known as infertility, is the inability to conceive after 12 months of regular, unprotected sexual intercourse. It may be:
Primary subfertility – when a person has never conceived.
Secondary subfertility – when there is difficulty conceiving after a previous pregnancy.
Subfertility can affect both men and women. In up to one-third of cases, both partners may contribute to the difficulty, or the cause may remain unexplained. Early assessment and appropriate treatment can improve the chances of pregnancy and provide emotional support throughout the process.
