Aga Khan Hospital for Women, Garden​

Established in 1967 and integrated with The Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) in 2010, the Aga Khan Hospital for Women, Garden provides dedicated healthcare services for women and children in Karachi, serving both local communities and patients from across the city. 

Care for Women and Children 

The Hospital offers inpatient and outpatient services focused on women’s and children’s health. Services include antenatal and postnatal care, labour and delivery, gynaecological care, paediatric consultations, and management of common and complex health conditions. 

Labour and delivery services include normal delivery, assisted delivery, and caesarean section, supported by trained clinical teams and appropriate monitoring facilities. 

Outpatient consulting clinics provide access to specialist care for women, children, and families, with referral pathways to AKUH’s broader network of specialists, diagnostic services, and tertiary care facilities when required. 

Facilities and Support Services 

The Hospital is equipped with on-site diagnostic services, laboratory services, and pharmacy support to enable timely and coordinated care. Urgent care services are available 24 hours a day for women and children requiring immediate medical attention. 

Quality and Accreditation 

The Aga Khan Hospital for Women, Garden has SafeCare Level 5 accreditation, reflecting adherence to international standards in patient safety and quality of care. It is also licensed by the Sindh Healthcare Commission (SHCC), demonstrating compliance with provincial regulatory standards. 

Access and Affordability 

The Hospital is committed to improving access to healthcare. Services are offered at affordable rates, with financial support available through zakat and patient welfare programmes for eligible patients.
