​Iron Deficiency Screening (Ages 2-18 Years)​

Overview

Iron deficiency in children is a common problem. It can range from a mild deficiency to iron deficiency anemia — a condition in which blood doesn't have enough healthy red blood cells. Untreated iron deficiency can affect a child's growth and development. 

Symptoms of iron deficiency in children include pale skin, irritability, fatigue, headaches desire to eat things like ice or dirt, chest pain or fast heartbeat, tongue inflammation or soreness etc.

Get your child screened for iron deficiency for timely treatment.​
