The Resource Development Office at The Aga Khan University continued the trend of distributing Teddy Bears again this Eid through The Gift a Bear Program, this initiative focuses on lessening pain and anxiousness for children during their stay at the hospital and leave with a smile and sense of joy.
With each donation received, a teddy bear was gifted to an admitted child. All the proceeds generated through this campaign supported AKUH’s Paediatric Welfare Fund to assist needy children seeking comprehensive care at AKUH.
Dr.Salman, Dr Nadeem and their families came to make it even special by distributing teddy bears to children admitted at the hospital. A total of 600 teddy bears have been distributed to the sick children of PAEDS wards during both Eids this year.
