The AKUH Quetta Referral Office organized an awareness session for the general public on Sunday, 14 May 2017. The session was led by Dr. Irfan Jeeva, Eye Surgeon and Service Line Chief for the Eye and ENT Service Line. He spoke about several topic including, 'Harmful Effects of Digital Screens' and 'Diabetic Retinopathy'. In addition, he introduced the state of the art Refractive Suite at the Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi.
The event aimed at creating awareness amongst the general public about eye disorders and how they can be prevented.
The Chief Justice Balochistan and Director General Health Services, Balochistan were among the distinguished attendees at the event.
