International Childhood Cancer Day

The Aga Khan University Hospital observed International Childhood Cancer Day on 15 February 2017, by celebrating it with children undergoing treatment for cancer and other diseases at the Hospital. On the occasion, the children’s ward took on a festive feel as staff and volunteers decorated it with colourful balloons and buntings. Hans Kedzierski, CEO of the Aga Khan University Hospital, joined in the celebrations and handed out toys and goody bags to children, while commending the strength and courage shown by them and their parents. He wished a speedy recovery to all the children.
The activity was joyfully received by both parents and children, who praised the Hospital and its doctors and nurses for their care and support.
