The Section of Dermatology at The Aga Khan University Hospital provides comprehensive care for conditions affecting the skin, hair, nails, and mucous membranes. Services include outpatient evaluation, medical management, and procedural dermatology for both common and complex conditions.
Our dermatologists are trained to diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of dermatological disorders, including inflammatory conditions, autoimmune skin diseases, pigmentary disorders, infections, allergic reactions, and hair and nail disorders. The Section also manages chronic and relapsing skin conditions that require ongoing specialist care.
Clinical services are supported by dermatological procedures performed in dedicated facilities. These include diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, laser-based treatments, and minimally invasive techniques for selected medical and aesthetic indications.
Cosmetic dermatology services are offered within a medically supervised framework, with emphasis on patient safety and evidence-based practice.
As part of an academic medical centre, the Section contributes to clinical education and research while maintaining internationally benchmarked standards of care.
