The Aga Khan University Hospital, Pakistan has officially launched its pioneering Second Opinion service. With this launch, it is now possible for patients from across Pakistan and from around the world to have access to the medical opinions of our highly regarded doctors without directly consulting with them.

A second opinion is medical advice taken from a doctor other than the one who provides the initial diagnosis or treatment plan to a patient. Within five working days, patients receive a detailed written report, empowering them with actionable insights and informed decision making. For those seeking further consultation, appointments can be conveniently scheduled through our Concierge Service or Contact Centre.

With the new Second Opinion service, AKUH reaffirms its commitment to enhancing patient care and fostering confidence in medical decision-making, ultimately contributing to a healthier and more empowered global community.
