Cardiometabolic Clinic
This is an outpatient clinic that assesses, diagnoses, treats and provides follow-up for patients suffering from non-communicable diseases.Services offered include:-
- General consultation, screening and treatment for hypertension, diabetes mellitus, elevated cholestrol levels and obesity
- Diabetes education
- Disease prevention and health promotion services through screening and health awareness talks for high risk persons
- Nutrition
- Smoking cessation
The clinic is available in the following medical centres
- Capital Medical Centre: Saturdays from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
- Wednesdays 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
- Town Medical Centre: Tuesdays from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
- Syokimau Medical Centre: Firdays from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
