Our newborn services include:
New Born Unit/Nursery
This unit is designed for healthy newborns who require no or minimal
interventions. Whenever a baby is not rooming-in with his mother, the
experienced staff in our nursery is there to provide him with
compassionate, expert care.
Neonatal High Dependency Unit
In the Neonatal High Dependency Unit, newborns who require specialised
medical attention receive round-the-clock observation and care.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi is home to the first and only
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in the East and Central African region. In
this Unit, we provide specialised care of the highest international
standard to newborns requiring close monitoring and high level of
interventions. We have also partnered with renowned organizations such
to facilitate the safe transfer of infants both to and from AKUH,N
facilities.
