Paediatric gasteroenterology, hepatology and nutrition clinic

This services offers diagnostic and therapeutic services for all disorders related to the digestive system, liver and biliary system as well as nutritional disorders. This is done through outpatient clinics, inpatient management, endoscopic services and radiology for ultrasound guided biopsies.

The service is currently run by three paediatric gastroenterologists.

We liase with doctors abroad on cases that cannot be managed locally for like liver transplants so that we can prepare the patients prior to surgery as well as manage them once they are back. This provides seamless transition of care to the patients.

Clinics are run daily from Monday to Friday at the Paediatric Specialist Clinics and Paediatric Consulting Clinics. Elective endoscopies are done on Wednesdays and Fridays, while emergency endoscopies can be done at any time.
