<p>In a testament to their constant commitment to patient safety and quality care, the Aga Khan Maternal and Child Care Centre, Hyderabad and the Aga Khan Hospital for Women, Karimabad have been recertified with the prestigious SafeCare Level 5 certification, the highest level of recognition for quality healthcare services.
</p><p>The recertification process involved a rigorous evaluation by a team of dedicated international SafeCare assessors. The surveys, conducted from September 9 to 13, 2024, at both the hospitals, precisely assessed the hospitals' compliance with the stringent protocols outlined in SafeCare's patient care standards. In Hyderabad, the survey involved one on-site assessor, one online assessor, and one online observer. In Karimabad, there was also one on-site assessor, one virtual assessor, and several virtual observers.</p><p>Both hospitals performed exceptionally well, meeting and exceeding the high standards in all 13 Service Elements, 170 Standards, and 680 measurable criteria. The evaluators thoroughly reviewed the hospitals' protocols in areas such as Governance and Management, Inpatient, Outpatient and Surgical Services, Risk Management, Medication Management, and the quality of patient care. This comprehensive evaluation affirmed that the hospitals not only met but outperformed the standards required to achieve the highest level of SafeCare certification.</p><p>The SafeCare Level 5 recertification reflects the Aga Khan Hospitals' unwavering commitment to delivering world-class healthcare services.
