Children’s Cancer (Paediatric Oncology) Support Group, facilitated by Children’s Oncology services, is for parents whose children are undergoing cancer treatment. Spearheaded by parents of former cancer patients, the support group meets on a quarterly basis, to lend guidance to others in coping with the disease and providing comfort. The discussions revolve around nutritional requirements of the patients, psychological counselling for the family members, physiotherapy services and other related topics. Access to the support group is by invitation.
