​Hospital Admissions

The Aga Khan Hospital for Women, Karimabad has admission facility for the women and children. Women with pregnancy and other health issues related to women’s health are managed in the inpatient. The hospital integrates highly trained teams of medical professionals with the best clinical practices and a wide range of state-of-the-art equipment giving patients the best possible diagnosis and treatment options as well as, minor surgeries.

  • Expected length of stay for Normal and Instrumental delivery is 1 to 2 days
  • Expected length of stay for C-Section delivery is 3 to 4 days
The Aga Khan Hospital for Women, Karimabad has Private Rooms and General wards for accommodation. Please let the Admission counter staff know about your preference when you register.

Patient Meal Timings:
Breakfast:  7:30 AM

Only 2 visitors are allowed to visit the patient at any one time in the ward.

General Ward 

  4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. (Mon – Sat)

  10:00 AM - 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM (Sun and Public Holidays)

Female Wards

  • Only 1 female attendant is allowed to stay with the patient.
  • Only 1 visitor is allowed in the wards during visiting time.
  • Children of patients are allowed during visiting time only.
  • Children below the age of 12 years are not allowed except on Sundays and public holidays during visiting hours.

Peads Ward

  • Only 1 female attendant is allowed to stay with the patient, preferably the mother.
  • Short visits are allowed to the patient's father between 7 am and 9 pm.
  • Only 1 visitor is allowed in the ward during visiting time.
  • Children below the age of 12 years are not allowed except on Sundays and public holidays during visiting hours.

Private Ward Rooms

  • Monday to Saturday: 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm
  • Sunday & Public Holidays: 10:00 am to 11:00 am | 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm
  • 2 attendants are allowed to visit with the patient, including the husband.
  • 2 visitors are allowed in the room during visiting time.
  • Children of patients are allowed during visiting time only.
  • Children below the age of 12 years are not allowed except on Sunday and public holidays during visiting hours.​
