The Aga Khan Maternal and Child Care Centre (AKMCCC) has admission services for women who need care and treatment for Obstetrics and Gynaecology problems as well as for sick children. We also have triage and urgent care services for women and children. Our hospital facilities are well-equipped with advanced technologies and staff who are experts in managing all kinds of deliveries offered here.  

The average length of stay for Normal and Instrumental delivery is expected to be 1 to 2 days, and for delivery through c-section, it is expected to be 3 to 4 days.

AKMCCC has well-maintained General Wards, Semi-private and Private Rooms to accommodate the admitted patients. You can let the staff at the Admission counter know about your first choice while registering.


Patient Meal Timings: 

Breakfast:  8:00 a.m - 8:30 a.m.

Lunch:       1:00 p.m - 1:30 p.m.

Dinner:       7:00 p.m - 7:30 p.m.

Two visitors are allowed to visit the patient at any one time in the General and Semi-Private wards 

4:00 p.m. -  6:00 p.m. (Mon – Sat, Summer Time)

3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Mon – Sat, Winter Time)

10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. (Sun)

Two visitors are allowed to visit the patient at any one time in the Private ward

8:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. (Mon – Sun)​
