Central Sterile Supply Department

The Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) is a state-of-the-art instrument processing and sterilizing facility at the Aga Khan University Hospital. CSSD is responsible for cleaning, preparing, processing, storing and distributing sterile medical, surgical supplies and equipment to patient care areas within the hospital. CSSD plays an indispensable role in ensuring patient safety and high quality care standards within the hospital.
