Smart Clinics' Introduced at Select Medical Centres Across Pakistan

Advancements in technology have revolutionised many areas of daily living and healthcare is no different. Using the latest state-of-the-art technology, the Aga Khan University Hospital is introducing 'Smart Clinics' where patients in different areas of the country can get consultations with doctors at our Main Hospital in Karachi, using state-of-the-art technology, while at our Medical Centre in their city or location.

Assisted by trained nurses at select medical centres across the country, the technology used at these Smart Clinics will allow doctors in Karachi to get real-time health vitals readings from patients. The technology will work as the doctor's eyes and ears and allow for a doctor-patient interaction very similar to what a same-clinic-location experience would otherwise be.

An AKUH nurse, present with the patient, will add further guidance and support like they do at all our clinics at the Main Hospital in Karachi and ensure a safe and uninterrupted doctor-patient experience.

In the first phase, these revolutionary Smart Clinics are being offered at the AKUH Medical Centres in Peshawar, Jacobabad, Sargodha, Rawalpindi and at Khayaban-e-Badar, Karachi.
