AKUH Receives Prestigious Award for Treatment of Heart Attack Patients

 
<p>​The Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) has been recognised for its excellence in treating heart attack patients. We have received the Chest Pain – MI Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award for 2024 from the American College of Cardiology&#39;s (ACC) National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR).</p><p>This prestigious award places AKUH among the world&#39;s top hospitals for providing high-quality cardiac care to heart attack patients. The <a href="https://cvquality.acc.org/NCDR-Home/registries/hospital-registries/chest-pain-mi-registry/action-registry-performance-achievement-awards">Chest Pain – MI Registry</a> empowers healthcare providers to consistently treat cardiac patients using  the latest science-based guidelines. It sets national standards for improving the quality, safety, and outcomes of care for patients with coronary artery disease. </p><p>Our commitment to providing exceptional care has earned us this recognition.
