<div>With the resolve to defeat <a href="/pakistan/diseases-and-conditions/Pages/breast-cancer.aspx">Breast Cancer</a> together, The Aga Khan University Hospital will be creating awareness among the masses through different activities throughout the month of October. </div><div>
</div><div>In line with this objective, Dr Munira Moosajee, Assistant Professor, <a href="/Pakistan/Health-Services/oncology/Pages/default.aspx">Oncology</a>, visited Jinnah University for Women, Karachi to conduct a lecture which was attended by around 150 students. Dr Munira spoke on topics including the risk factors contributing to Breast Cancer, how to perform a self-examination, the importance of getting regular check-ups and the prevalence of Breast Cancer in Pakistan.</div><div>
</div><div>The event was received very well which was also expressed at the end in the Q&A session, where a lot of questions were posed by the students. The interest of the participants was evident even after that, as students who were shy to ask questions before, came to ask questions personally from Dr. Munira after the session was officially closed.</div><div>The audience and University management commended the efforts of The Aga Khan University Hospital in taking measures to help spread awareness about Breast Cancer and contribute towards positive female health development. </div><div>
