Department of Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy Services at The Aga Khan University Hospital provide a compassionate and comprehensive program for adults and children in overcoming physical, neurological, cognitive impairments and disabilities caused by injury or disease. Our physiotherapy practices meet International Quality Standards such as Joint Commission International (JCI).

All our physiotherapists are highly trained, equipped with sophisticated equipment and work within an interdisciplinary medical team to provide examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis and interventions towards achieving the treatment goals of every patient. The program is designed to restore the patient’s physical functions, relieve pain and minimise the psychological, social and vocational impact of the injury or disease. Patients can access our services by visiting the clinic (outpatients) or are offered the service if they are admitted to the hospital (inpatients) or through our outreach medical centres and home health services where we will come to your doorstep.
