Section of Urology

The Section of Urology under the Department of Surgery excels in diagnosing and treating problems involving the male and female urinary tract and the male reproductive organs. From treating cancer to addressing incontinence, restoring fertility to offering vasectomies and reversals, AKUH delivers holistic care for all urological conditions.

Our skilled team of surgeons works collaboratively with other sections and departments  — including internal medicine, paediatrics, gynecology, and oncology among others — to provide highly individualised care as per the needs of our patients.

Our surgeons in the Section of Urology follow the latest techniques and d​​​​raw on the latest research that enhances the Section's capability to offer the most advanced surgical treatments. They also routinely perform laparoscopic urological procedures as well as all endourological procedures.  The surgeons rely on an interdisciplinary approach and draw on support from other areas to provide our patients with holistic care for the best treatment outcomes possible.​
